LHB has promoted Daniel Maldonado, AIA, to lead its Healthcare Studio.
Maldonado, who joined LHB in 2005, has served as a project manager on hundreds of projects, from catheter labs to neighborhood clinics, during his 17-year tenure at the firm. He holds degrees in architectural design from Arizona State University and the University of California – Berkeley and is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.
“Healthcare is changing rapidly, driven by innovations in care and new technologies,” Maldonado said. “It can be challenging to keep up with that ever-evolving landscape, but it’s also deeply rewarding to know that our designs can improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.”
LHB serves a wide range of healthcare clients, including Essentia Health, Marshfield Clinic Health System, CentraCare, and University of Minnesota Physicians.
“As a company, we are well-positioned to expand our healthcare business across the Upper Midwest,” LHB CEO Rick Carter said. “Daniel has been a key player in our recent success in this sector, and his leadership will be essential to continuing our growth in healthcare design as we move forward.”
